The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The influential video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
